Phone Calls
Youth Detention Facility
residents may make free phone calls from pay phones located in each living
unit during open recreation periods. Phone use may be limited to
ensure all youth have the opportunity to use the phone. The maximum time for a
phone call is 15 minutes.
Mail
Each resident may write and
receive an unlimited amount of mail. Mail includes letters, and cards. Postage
for all outgoing mail is paid for by YDF. All incoming and outgoing mail is
opened and inspected for contraband with the resident present.
