The general purpose of the Delinquency Prevention Commission is to coordinate the work of community agencies engaged in delinquency prevention programs and to initiate such programs to fill any unmet needs. Members of the Delinquency Prevention Commission are appointed by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court with the concurrence of the Judge of the Juvenile Court. Recommendations to the Juvenile Court Judge for membership on the Commission may be made by current members.
